Stone See

It is a fortress and a village built by the Muslims on a settlement of the Bronze Age in a steep place of easy defense on a rock that serves as a base, the Stone See of Olula, considered as a symbol of the town of Olula del Río in front of which rises majestic.

There is a legend that ensures that from the top of the rock there is an underground gallery that goes down to the stream of Macael, and that served to “the Moors” to collect the water for the cistern and to flee from the enemy.
